One of my first posts was of a gushing nature, specifically aimed at LEGO bricks and LEGO Universe, the upcoming MMO that allows you to take control of a little LEGO guy and go do little LEGO guy things.
The bricks and I are still very, very cool.
The game? It sucks. With LEGO, it’s always been about building fun stuff from the get-go. The game seems to miss this point entirely and forces you to run around doing mundane MMO crap - run here and kill 10 of these, run there and get five of those - in order to earn your bricks. It’s stupid.
I just want to build tanks and giant robots, and they won’t let me.
LEGO, YOUR GAME BASED ON BUILDING BLOCKS WON’T LET ME BUILD THINGS.
That’s just crappy.
